Goose-mouth sore

鹅口疮 〔鵝口瘡〕é kǒu chuāng

Also snow mouth. A mouth disease in the newborn, caused by accumulated heat in the spleen and heart channels and characterized by ulceration of the mouth, white scales all over the tongue, sore mouth and tongue, and, in severe cases, vexation and agitation. This disease is one form of fetal heat.
