Generalized heat
身热 〔身熱〕 shēn rè
Also hot body. A condition in which the whole of the body is is hot. See heat effusion.
Etymology
Chinese: 身 shēn, body; 热 rè, heat. Body
here is taken to mean the whole body. In some contexts, it appears to mean the trunk as opposed to the head, e.g., 头热身不热 tóu rè shēn bù rè, hot head without hot body (see gān dysentery).
