Binding in yīn

结阴 〔結陰〕jié yīn

From Plain Questions (素问 sù wèn, yīn yáng bié lùn). Evil qì binding in the yīn channels. The liver belongs to reverting yīn (jué yīn) and stores the blood; the spleen belongs to greater yīn (tài yīn) and controls the blood. When evil qì binds in the yīn channels and fails to be moved by yáng qì, it gradually damages the yīn network vessels so that blood spills internally, causing bloody stool.
