Evil lodged in the triple burner
邪留三焦 〔邪留三焦〕 xié liú sān jiāo
1. An externally contracted febrile disease pattern of damp-heat lingering lodged in the qì aspect of the triple burner, characterized by cough, oppression in the chest, abdominal distension, sloppy stool, and inhibited urination.
2. Any evil harassing the triple burner, disturbing normal qì transformation there, and causing signs of water metabolism disturbances, such as oppression in the chest, lower abdominal urgency, and inhibited urination.
