Death in utero
胎死腹中 〔胎死腹中〕tāi sǐ fù zhōng
Death of the fetus in the uterus, attributable to a) knocks and falls, b) deep-lying heat toxin in the thoroughfare (chōng) and controlling (rèn) vessels in febrile disease, c) qì-blood vacuity in the thoroughfare (chōng) and controlling (rèn) vessels vessels due to constitutional vacuity in the mother, d) strangling by the umbilical cord, and e) abortifacient medicines.
