Actions and indications:
- Quickens the blood and relieves pain: Amenorrhea with abdominal pain; residual postpartum blood stasis; injury from knocks and falls.
- Dispels wind and dampness: Wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain.
- Resolves toxin and kills worms:
Welling- and flat-abscesses (yōng jū), clove sores (dīng), goose-foot wind, and ashen nail (huī zhǐ jiǎ 灰指甲).
Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct 2–5g of dried product or 6–10g of the fresh or use in pills and powders. Topical: Appropriate amount.
Warnings: Use with care in pregnancy.
Production area: Tibet, Yúnnán.
