Channel entry: Lung, spleen, and stomach channels.

Actions and indications:

• Moves qì, transforms dampness, and fortifies the stomach: Dampness obstructing the center burner; damp-warmth in febrile disease.
• Warms the stomach and checks vomiting: Stomach cold vomiting and retching.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–6g, do not boil for a long time) or use in pills and powders.

Quality: Large plump unbroken fruits are the best.

Production area: Guǎngdōng, Guǎngxī.
