Actions and indications: Dries dampness and dispels cold; eliminates phlegm and interrupts malaria; fortifies the spleen and warms the stomach.* Treats cold pain in the heart [region] and abdomen; distension and fullness in the chest and abdomen; phlegm-damp stagnation with indigestion, vomiting and retching, and diarrhea.*

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–9g) or use in powders.
