Use: Medicinal

Category: Heat-clearing agents / Heat-clearing toxin-resolving agents

Properties: Sweet*; cold*.

Indications:

Clears heat and resolves toxin; disperses swelling and binds. Similar to Tiān kuí zǐ (天葵子 Semiaquilegiae Radix, semiaquilegia root) in action and indications, but its power to disperse welling-abscesses and fight cancer is weaker.

Dosage & Method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g). Topical: Apply crushed.
