Properties: Bitter, acrid; cold.
Channel entry: Heart, liver, and stomach channels.
Indications:
- Clears heat and resolves toxin: Heat
toxin sore s such as clove sores, mammary welling-abscesses, intestinal welling-abscesses, and cinnabar toxin (erysipelas). - Resolves snake venom: venomous snake bites.
Painful red swollen eyes due to liver heat.
Dosage & Method: Oral: 15–30g in decoctions. Fresh zǐ huā dì dīng is also applied topically.
