Use: Medicinal

Properties: Bland; cool.

Actions and indications: Soothes the liver; dispels wind and disinhibits dampness; disperses stasis and disperses swelling. Treats icteric hepatitis; menstrual irregularities; wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain; lumbar and knee impediment (bì) pain; child fright wind; numbing wind (leprosy).

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (15–30g) or steep in wine. Topical: Apply crushed.
