Treats wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain; external injury pain; headache; stomach pain; malarial disease; panting and cough; painful red swollen eyes; toxin swelling of welling-abscesses (yōng) and sores; scrofula; lichen (xiǎn) and lài.

Dosage and method: Topical: Apply crushed or decoct as a wash.

Production area: Grows wild in most parts.
