Indications:
As for cháng shān, although shǔ qī's emetic action is stronger. It is combined with Lóng gǔ (龙骨 Mastodi Ossis Fossilia, dragon bone) to treat female malaria, which is malarial disease characterized by more pronounced aversion to cold than heat effusion.
Dosage & Method: Oral: 3–6g.
Warnings: Combining shǔ qī with cháng shān is contraindicated.
Product Area: South of the Yangtze, Gānsū, southern Shǎnxī (Shaanxi), and Sìchuān.
