Use: Medicinal

Properties: Sweet^✽; warm.^✽

Actions and indications: Dispels wind and eliminates dampness; rectifies qì and quickens the blood. Treats external contraction of wind-cold; heat effusion and headache; enduring wheezing and panting; wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain; inverted menstruation (vicarious menstruation); injury from knocks and falls; clove sores (dīng).

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g), steep in wine, or grind to a powder. Topical: Apply crushed.
