Channel entry: Stomach and large intestine channels.
Indications:
- Astringes the intestines and checks diarrhea: Enduring diarrhea and dysentery.
- Stanches bleeding with astringency: Flooding and spotting; vaginal discharge.
- Can also treat
hemorrhoids and fistulas .Dosage & Method: Oral: Decoct (9–20g); or use in powders or pills. Topical: Grind and sprinkle on affected area or apply mixed.
Quality: Unbroken dark-colored lumps with pronounced layers are the best.
Product Area: Hénán, Jiāngsū, Zhèjiāng, Sìchuān.
