Use: Medicinal

Properties: Sweet and bland; balanced.

Actions and indications: Clears heat and resolves toxin; disperses stasis and disperses swelling. Treats pneumonia; tonsillitis; parotitis; scrofula; swelling and sore-toxin; bone fractures; wound infections.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–12g). Topical: Decoct as a wash or grind and sprinkle on the affected area.
