Actions and indications: Eliminates wind, transforms phlegm, disperses swelling, and softens hardness; eliminate alcohol toxin. Treats heat effusion in common cold and influenza; cough; diarrhea; water swelling; wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain; injury from knocks and falls; mammary welling-abscesses (rǔ yōng).

Production area: Central, southern, and south-western China.
