Warms the kidney and invigorates yáng: Impotence and premature ejaculation; infertility due to uterine cold; cold impediment (hán bì) affecting the lumbus and knees.
Dosage & Method:
Oral: Most often taken in pills or swallowed as a powder along with a decoction, 3–6g per dose.
Warning:
Contraindicated in yīn vacuity with effulgent fire.
Quality:
Glistening grayish-white actinolite that is soft and crumbles easily is best.
