Supplements blood and boosts essence.

insufficiency of kidney qì; marked emaciation; lumbar pain; yīn flat-abscesses (yīn jū); impotence; seminal efflux; uterine vacuity cold; flooding and spotting; vaginal discharge.

Dosage & Method:

Oral: Dissolve in water or yellow wine (6–12g); make into pill, powder, or paste preparations.

Warning:

Contraindicated in yīn vacuity with yáng hyperactivity.

Quality:

Neat lumps of semitranslucent glue and without unpleasant odor are the best.
