Use: Medicinal

Properties: Bitter; balanced; mildly toxic.

Actions and indications: Moves qì, relieves pain, eliminates dampness, and kills worms. Treats stomach qì pain; mounting qì (shàn qì); scrofulous lump; heat toxin in the skin; damp lichen (xiǎn); scab (jiè) and lài.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (1–2 pieces). Topical: Decoct as a wash or grind and apply mixed.
