Actions and indications: Clears heat; disinhibits dampness; relieves pain; resolves toxin; stanches bleeding. Treats strangury-turbidity (lìn zhuó); stomach pain; mouth sores; hemorrhoids; ulcers; injury from knocks and falls; snake bites; bleeding from external injury.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (4.5–9g). Topical: Grind and sprinkle on the affected area or decoct as a wash.
