Use: Medicinal

Properties: Acrid; warm; toxic.

Actions and indications: Dispels phlegm; disinhibits urine; resolves toxic; induces ejection. Treats throat wind; water swelling; toxin swelling of welling- and flat-abscesses (yōng jū); clove sores (dīng); scrofula.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (1.5–3g). Topical: Apply crushed or decoct as a wash.
