Actions and indications:
- Transforms stasis and stanches bleeding: vomiting of blood; flooding and spotting; bloody stool; bloody urine.
- Quickens the blood and frees the channels (menses): Amenorrhea; menstrual pain;
concretions and conglomerations ; injury from knocks and falls.
Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–10g). Use char-fried to stanch bleeding. Topical: Apply crushed.
Warnings: Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Production area: Shāndōng, Liáoníng, Héběi.
