Indications:

• Transforms stasis and stanches bleeding: vomiting of blood; flooding and spotting; bloody stool; bloody urine.
• Quickens the blood and frees the channels (menses): Amenorrhea; menstrual pain; concretions and conglomerations; injury from knocks and falls.

  Dosage & Method: Oral: Decoct (3–10g). Use char-fried to stanch bleeding. Topical: Apply crushed.

  Warnings: Contraindicated in pregnancy.
