Indications:

Transforms stasis and stanches bleeding.

vomiting of blood (blood ejection); nosebleed (nǜ xuè); bloody stool; flooding and spotting; bleeding from incised wounds.

Dosage & Method:

Oral: Decoct 10–15g; use in powders (3–9g). Topical: Grind to a powder and sprinkle on the affected area (best used calcined for increased astringency).

Quality:

The best quality has yellow and green streaks.
