Actions and indications: Resolves the exterior; clears heat; brightens the eyes; disinhibits urine. Treats common cold and cough; headache; sore throat; red eyes; eye screens; strangury-turbidity (lìn zhuó); vaginal discharge; swollen welling-abscesses (yōng zhǒng); clove sores (dīng).

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (30–90g fresh) or press juice. Topical: Apply crushed.
