Actions and indications: Clears the lung, reduces inflammation, resolves heat, and quickens the blood. The spores may be sprinkled in bleeding from wounds.* Treats bronchitis; pneumonia; nosebleed; loss of voice; pharyngitis; crab shell clove sores (dīng).*

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (1.5–3g). Topical: Apply to affected area.
