Indications:

  • Rectifies qì and relieves pain: Qì stagnation in the chest and diaphragm; glomus and oppression in the stomach duct.
  • Warms the kidney and invigorates yáng: Kidney yáng vacuity. with limp aching lumbus and knees and impotence.

    Dosage & Method:

    Oral: Decoct 3–6g; also used in pills and powders.

    Warning:

    Use with care in yīn vacuity with yáng hyperactivity.

    Quality:

    Evenly sized brown bodies that have a high oil content and have not been eaten by other organisms are the best.
