Indications:

Courses the liver and rectifies qì; loosens the center and harmonizes the stomach.

liver-stomach qì stagnation, with distension and fullness in the chest and rib-side and in the stomach duct and stomach; depressed liver qì with premenstrual distension and pain in the breasts.

Dosage & Method: Oral: Decoct 3–9g or use in pills and powders.

Warnings: Not suitable for qì vacuity or yīn vacuity.

Product Area: Aesculus chinensis: Zhèjiāng, Jiāngsū, and Hénán. Aesculus wilsonii: Shǎnxī (Shaanxi), Sìchuān, Guìzhōu, and Húběi.
