Category: Qì-rectifying agents

Properties: Bitter and acrid; warm.

Indications:

Transforms phlegm, rectifies qì, fortifies the stomach, and disperses food.

phlegm stagnating in the chest; cough and panting; vomiting and hiccup; food accumulation and stagnation.

Dosage & Method: Oral: Decoct (3–6g) or use in pills and powders.

Notes: This item is derived from a different fruit than chén pí.
