Channel entry: small intestine and bladder channels.
Indications:
- Disinhibits urine, frees strangury, and expels stones: All strangury patterns; biliary and urinary calculi.
- Disinhibits water and disperses swelling: Inhibited urination and water swelling.
Dosage & Method:
Oral: 6–15g, decocted in a cloth bag.
Warning:
To be used cautiously in kidney yīn vacuity.
Quality:
Best are clean, dry, shiny yellowish-brown spores that are light in substance, float on water, and that crackle when ignited.
