Properties: Bitter; cold.
Channel entry: Bladder and kidney channels.
Indications:
- Clears heat and disinhibits dampness: Damp-heat strangury patterns.
- Relieves itching: Patterns of generalized itching, wind papules (rubella, German measles), and
damp sores .
Dosage & Method: Oral: 10–15g in decoctions; also used as a wash.
Quality: Plump grayish-green fruits without stalks and foreign matter are the best.
Product Area: Héběi, Jiāngsū, Fújiàn.
