Indications:
- Disinhibits urine and frees strangury: Damp-heat strangury patterns.
- Quickens the blood and frees menstruation: Amenorrhea or menstrual irregularities due to blood heat and stasis.
Dosage & Method:
Oral: 10–15g, taken in decoctions.
Warning:
Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Quality:
Dry green herbs with unopened purple flower buds, and without roots or flowers or extraneous weeds are the best. Plants bearing prickles are not used.
