Properties: Properties and actions as 砂仁, but milder. Moves qì and fortifies the stomach; harmonizes stomach and arouses the spleen.

Channel entry: Moves qì and fortifies the stomach; harmonizes stomach and arouses the spleen.

Indications:

Mild spleen-stomach qì stagnation with fullness and distention in the stomach duct and abdomen and poor appetite.

Dosage & Method: 3–5g.
