Category: Aromatic dampness-transforming agents
Properties: Acrid; warm.
Indications:
- Hòu pò huā aromatically transforms dampness, moves qì, and loosens the chest.
- It is used for damp obstruction and qì stagnation resulting in fullness, distension, and pain in the stomach duct and abdomen.
Dosage & Method: Oral: 3–6g.
Quality: Undamaged brown-red unopened buds with short stalks and strong scent are the best.
Product Area: Sìchuān, Húběi, Zhèjiāng, Sìchuān.
