    Indications:

    • Dispels wind and dampness; frees the network vessels; quickens the blood and disperses swelling: Wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì); toxin swelling of clove sores (dīng chuāng); leprosy; stubborn lichen (xiǎn).
    • Kills worms and resolves toxin: leprosy; stubborn lichen; scab; eczema.

      Dosage & Method:

      Oral: 10–30g (reduce the amount if the product includes the root bark), boiled for 1–2 hours; 0.5–1.5g in pills and powders. Topical: Apply the dried form as a powder and the fresh product crushed. Can also be made as a wine or paste.

      Warning:

      Contraindicated in pregnancy and use with case in biomedically diagnosed heart, liver, stomach, or kidney disease or reduced white blood cell count.
