  • Expels water by draining precipitation: Water swelling; drum distension (ascites).
  • Breaks blood and disperses concretions: Concretions and conglomerations; blood stasis amenorrhea.
  • Kills worms and attacks toxins: Stubborn lichen; venomous snake bites; swelling of welling-abscesses (yōng).

    Dosage & Method:

    Oral: Used in pills and powders (1.5–3g). Topical: Apply as a powder.

    Quality:

    Clean large plump firm seeds are the best.
