Properties: Acrid; warm; nontoxic.

Actions and indications: Diffuses the lung and sweeps phlegm; warms the center and disinhibits qì. Treats exuberant internal cold rheum; cough; phlegm stagnation; fullness and oppression in the chest and diaphragm.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct or extract juice by crushing. Topical: Calcine preserving nature, grind to a powder, and sprinkle on the affected area, or decoct as a wash.
