Use: Medicinal

Properties: Acrid; warm; nontoxic.^✽

Actions and indications: Courses wind and moves qì; quickens the blood and relieves pain. Treats abdominal pain due to enteritis; joint pain; injury from knocks and falls.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (15–30g), grind to a powder, or steep in wine. Topical: Grind and sprinkle on the affected area or apply crushed.
