Properties: Bitter and slightly acrid; cool.

Actions and indications: Clears heat and resolves toxin; relieves cough; brightens the eyes. Treats pulmonary welling-abscesses (fèi yōng); pneumonia; pulmonary tuberculosis; whooping cough; eye disease.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–9g).
