Indications:
- Clears heat and resolves toxin:
Venomous snake bites ; bee and scorpion stings;welling- and flat-abscesses (yōng jū), and clove sores (dīng chuāng). - Disinhibits water and disperses swelling: water swelling; drum distension.
Dosage & Method:
Oral: Decoct (15–30g). Topical: Apply crushed or squeeze juice.
Warning:
Contraindicated in vacuity pattern water swelling.
Quality:
Best are dry plants with green leaves and yellowish roots and free of extraneous matter.
