Use: Medicinal

Properties: Bitter and acrid^✽; warm or hot^✽; nontoxic.^✽

Actions and indications: Brightens the eyes; invigorates yáng; aids the water viscus (the kidney), disinhibiting the lumbus and knees, and warming the uterus.*

Dosage and method: Grind to powder and use in pills (1.5–4.5g).
