Properties: Sweet and bitter*; cold*; nontoxic*.
Channel entry: Liver, lung, large intestine, and bladder channels.
Indications:
- Clears heat and resolves toxin: Welling-abscesses; scrofula; eczema; itching;
venomous snake bites ; diarrhea and dysentery. - Abates vacuity heat: persistent vacuity heat; tidal heat and night sweating; pulmonary consumption cough.
- Disinhibits urine: Heat strangury with rough urination; inhibited urination.
Dosage & Method: Oral: 6–15g (double if using fresh product). Topical: Appropriate amount.
