Ingredients:
- Biē jiǎ (鳖甲 Trionycis Carapax, turtle shell) 30g
- Dì gǔ pí (地骨皮 Lycii Cortex, lycium bark) 30g
- Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root]) 30g
- Qín jiāo (秦艽 Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, large gentian [root]) 15g
- Zhī mǔ (知母 Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, anemarrhena [root]) 15g
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 15g
- Qīng hāo yè (青蒿叶 Artemisiae Annuae Folium, sweet wormwood leaf) five leaves
- Wū méi (乌梅 Mume Fructus, mume [fruit]) 1 piece
Action: Enriches yīn and nourishes the blood; clears heat and eliminates steam.

Method: Decoct with water.
Rationale: Wind taxation disease is consumption due to repeated external contractions. Biē jiǎ, Zhī mǔ, and Dāng guī are the sovereign agents. They enrich yīn-blood and clear vacuity heat. Chái hú and Qín jiāo and the ministers. They resolve the flesh (i.e., the fleshy exterior) and dispel wind. Qīng hāo and Dì gǔ pí are the assistants. They outthrust heat and eliminate steaming. Wū méi is a sour astringent agent that constrains yīn and checks sweating.
