Sophora Flower and Musk Powder
槐香散 〔槐香散〕 huái xiāng sǎn

Ingredients
Indications: Vomiting of blood.
Method: Grind to a fine powder and add a pinch of musk.
Rationale: Huái huā is a cool bitter agent that cools the blood and stanches bleeding. It is counterbalanced by warm acrid Shè xiāng, which disperses stasis.
