Ingredients

Actions: Clears provisioning and opens the orifices; cools the blood and resolves toxin.

Indications: Warm heat or summerheat epidemics or damp warmth transforming into dryness with the evil entering provisioning-blood and damaging yīn-fluids, and giving rise to signs such as high fever, clouded spirit, delirious speech, purple maculopapular eruption, putrefaction of the mouth and throat (oral putrescence), red eyes, vexation and agitation. Tongue: Crimson or purple.
