Ingredients

• Shēng shí gāo (生石膏 Gypsum Crudum, crude gypsum) 50g
• Zhī mǔ (知母 Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, anemarrhena [root]) 18g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 6g
• Jīng mǐ (粳米 Oryzae Semen, non-glutinous rice) 9g
• Sān qī (三七 Notoginseng Radix, notoginseng [root]) 9g

Actions: Clears heat; boosts qì; engenders liquid.

Indications: baihutangpatterns in which profuse sweating has caused damage to both qì and liquid; summerheat stroke in the summer months with heat effusion, thirst, and profuse sweating. Pulse: Large and forceful.
