Bupleurum Decoction Plus Bitter Orange and Platycodon [1]
柴胡枳桔汤[1] 〔柴胡枳桔湯[1]〕chái hú zhǐ jié tāng

Ingredients:
- Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root]) 4.5g
- Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 4.5g
- Jiāng bàn xià (姜半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma cum Zingibere Praeparatum, ginger[-processed] pinellia [rhizome]) 4.5g
- Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger) 3g
- Zhǐ ké (qiào) (枳壳 Aurantii Fructus, bitter orange) 4.5g
- Jié gěng (桔梗 Platycodonis Radix, platycodon [root]) 3g
- Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 4.5g
Action: Harmonizes and resolves the lesser yáng (shào yáng); disperses glomus and fullness.
