Drool-Controlling Elixir
控涎丹 〔控涎丹〕 kòng xián dān
Source: Sān Yīn Fāng 三因方
Alternate Chinese names: Zǐ lóng wán (子龙丸 Young Dragon Pill)
Ingredients
- Gān suì (甘遂 Kansui Radix, kansui [root])
- Dà jǐ (大戟 Euphorbiae seu Knoxiae Radix, euphorbia/knoxia [root])
- Bái jiè zǐ (白芥子 Sinapis Albae Semen, white mustard [seed])
Actions: Dispels phlegm and rheum.
Indications: Water-rheum collecting in the chest and diaphragm with dull pain in the chest and rib-side, cough; phlegm-drool congestion with a wood saw rasping sound in the throat.

Method: Ingredients in equal proportions.
Dosage: 1–2g taken with water twice a day after meals.
