Ingredients

• Bí qí (荸荠 Heleocharitis Cormus, water chestnut¹) 360g
• Hǎi zhé (海蜇 Rhopilemae Tentaculum, jelly fish [tentacle]) 12g

Actions: Clears heat and transforms phlegm; disperses binds.

Indications: Cough with sticky phlegm; scrofula; nodes. Found to be effective for high blood pressure.

Category: Phlegm-dispelling formulas / Heat-clearing phlegm-transforming formulas

Method: Decoct with water.

Notes: This formula so named because of the white color of water chestnuts.
