• Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 9g
• Zhī zǐ (栀子 Gardeniae Fructus, gardenia [fruit]) 9g
• Jié gěng (桔梗 Platycodonis Radix, platycodon [root]) 9g
• Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 12g
• Sāng bái pí (桑白皮 Mori Cortex, mulberry bark) 9g
• Zhè bèi mǔ (浙贝母 Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus, Zhèjiāng fritillaria [bulb]) 9g
• Zhī mǔ (知母 Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, anemarrhena [root]) 9g
• Guā lóu zǐ (瓜蒌子 Trichosanthis Semen, trichosanthes seed) 12g
• Jú hóng (橘红 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Rubrum, red tangerine peel) 6g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 9g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 3g

Actions: Clears the lung and transforms phlegm

Indications: Persistent phlegm turbidity transforming into heat, characterized by cough with thick yellow phlegm. Tongue fur: Yellow and slimy. Pulse: Soggy and rapid.
